This is the beginning of my very own blog. Everybody else does it and it doesn’t cost a thing so here it goes. I just want my first post to be about football. I love the NFL and after this week my favorite team is now 0-3. Once again headed for a horrible and depressing season. Yes folks, I am talking about the pathetic Detroit Lions. I have been a Detroit Lions fan since I saw them first play on Thanksgiving when I was around 10 years old. I loved the uniforms and was a big fan of cats in general. Had 10 to 20 cats growing up and the movie Roar was one of my favorite movies. Check it out sometime, it’s just about Lions eating people. Now about the lions today. Year after year they are continually breaking my heart. I finallly got directTv 7 years ago so I could see all my Lions games finally, and they have only won 30 games since. Folks that is 7 seasons with 30 wins, do the math. THAT STINKS! Not one good quaterback or coach in all that time. Not one worthwhile defense and it’s all to blame on William Clay Ford (of Ford motor) and his hiring of former Football great Matt Millan. With 13 games to go it’s going to be a long season in the motor city. That’s all for now, my kids need me, so I write again another time.
